After starting this project the end of 2006, where would you even begin to sum up the experience of it? That’s beyond me to elaborate on but I do know that it’s not done just yet. “The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy” the first of a two part story, has finally entered into the COMPLETED status after it’s long stint in post production – The entirely Independent and Texas based Western is one of the very few Westerns shot in 2009. And one of the first of it’s genra to shoot with the Red One Camera.

Everyone from the production is so excited for LOGH to reach an audience, we hope to move fast and efficient through the distribution process.

In the works for the future is the second installment of the story: “1877.” as you probably guess, very little can be said about the status at this time. But be on the lookout for more LOHG news in the upcoming months. - Tanner Beard Director: “The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy”

Also would like say fare well to a great face, character and actor Mr. Marcos Akiaten who graced us with his performance in the film. Thank you, you are remembered.

Valley Peaks Season Two!!

Valley Peaks is best described as: “a Mexican soap opera in English while spoofing daytime television and teen dramas”. That does about sum it up for Season One’s absurdity but SEASON TWO on the other hand has definitely become a show of it’s own. What is that show exactly, something you’ll have to watch this fall of 2010!

www.THELEGENDOFHELLSGATE.com is the Official web site of the feature which is set to be completed sometime in June. Although still in post production LOHG has starting to generate some buzz with the film’s release of it’s 1 minute Teaser Trailer. The Web site is still under construction and should be completed with in the next two weeks.

When the site fully launches in May it will include Galleries, Info, Character Bios, an About Page and more. Also will be unvaling the new look for LOHG.

LOHG:AAC is not premiering at the festival, it’s current status is still on the operating table at the Projektor Creative & Sleeping Giant Entertainment post studio house in downtown L.A. Sleeping Giant also to announce at Sundance it’s arrival in the production market.

Lexie Beard and Space Radio are in the recoding studios in Austin, Texas corresponding with music supervisors receiving feeds in L.A. “Sounds like it’s going to be an awesome soundtrack!” said director Tanner Beard. “They’ve been bringing a great feel to what we shot.” Visit there music at www.spaceradioband.com

While at Sundance, there will be several members of the LOHG there to promote the launching of the movie’s website: www.THELEGENDOFHELLSGATE.com (Coming Soon). According to previous news the web site is said to be premiering something of it’s own. Look for a Brand New Teaser for the film, our very first look at what “The Legend” is all about!

Set to start in the later part of 2010, Silver Sail Entertainment is gearing up for another film. Tanner Beard will write and direct and is said to be infront of the camera as well. Other cast members signed on are Russell Cummings (Legend of Hell’s Gate, An Acrid Yarn) and Ken Luckey (Legend of Hell’s Gate, Valley Peaksl). Nathanael Vorce to DP the project. More info soon!

The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy Wrapped!

Principle Photography came to a close on Nov. 18th just outside of Austin, Texas for the feature film The Legend of Hell’s Gate: An American Conspiracy written, directed, and co-starring Tanner Beard. Among the cast are Eric Balfour, Lou Taylor Pucci, Summer Glau, Jenna Dewan, Rob Buckley, James Lafferty, Buck Taylor, and Jamie Thomas King just to mention a few from this huge ensemble cast. The film began shooting on Oct. 18th with a wrap date of Nov. 18th and has now begun post production. Tanner’s company Silver Sail Entertainment is one of the three production companies behind the film. Others being Flatiron Pictures and 4 Go West Productions. There should be a web site up for the film very soon, and there is currently a twitter and a facebook page. More information coming soon!

We’re WIRED about TRUE WEST!

The highly popular WIRED Magazine was extremely kind in mentioning Valley Peaks as a show to watch for in a recent write up they did on current media. In the write up they also spoke of Koldcast.tv, where you can watch Valley Peaks, and the trail blazing of new media.

Legend of Hell’s Gate is currently in production in Texas and Los Angeles and if you caught the June issue of True West Magazine you might seen a few of the characters that are making their way to the Possum Kingdom Lake/Granbury/Dallas area come September. Read about it here.
